New CASA Class Night 4

To become a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), one of the requirements is our four 4-hr classes along with online pre-work. In these classes, you’ll learn about the role of CASA and our part in the foster system, the different types of trauma and how to help a child build resilience, the issues our children face in regards to substance abuse, domestic abuse, physical/sexual abuse, neglect, poverty, as well as the challenges of being placed away from their home of origin. We also discuss family reunification, adoption, and other options in regards to our mission to find safe, loving, permanent homes for our CASA children. Currently our classes are hybrid – both in person and virtual. Let us know if you have questions by emailing info@casaforkidsofet.org.
